Condolence messages on demise of late Justice Zelre

NPF, Nagaland Judicial Officers’ Association (NJOA), Former Judge Supreme Court of India, H. K Sema and Phek District Bar Association (PDBA) have expressed pain on the passing away of Justice Zelre Angami, retired Judge of Guwahati High Court on December 20.
Leader of NPR Legislature party, Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu described late Zelre as an intelligent and courageous personality who had dedicated his life for justice for the people and the society with utmost sincerity.
His demise was a great loss to the Naga people but the legacy he left behind will always be remembered and cherished, Azo said.
Azo conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and near and dear ones and prayed for the departed soul rest in peace.
NJOA: Nagaland Judicial Officers’ Association (NJOA) termed late Zelre as an upright and a perfect gentleman and served in various legal forums.
The association said his demise has marked “the closing of a chapter in the State legal history”.
NJOA said that the contributions of late Zelre Angami to the legal institutions will always be remembered and conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
H K Sema: Former Judge Supreme Court of India, H. K Sema mourned the sudden demise of retired Justice Zelre Angami.
In a condolence message, Sema said late Justice Zelre was a judge of impeccable integrity and had dispensed with equitable justice with erudite knowledge of law.
In his death, Sema said the nation in general, the Naga Society and the legal fraternity in particular has lost a Judge of highest integrity and have lost a personal friend and esteemed colleague. He conveyed deepest condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
PDBA: Phek District Bar Association (PDBA) expressed pain on the passing away of Justice of Gauhati High Court (Rtd), Zelre Angami on December 20, at Kohima.
PDBA stated that late Justice Zelre Angami was one of the finest legal luminaries who had sacrificed for the betterment of Judiciary in Nagaland.
In his demise, Naga society have lost one of the best brain lawyer and a tall figure in legal fraternity and the vacuum created by his death will be difficult to fill.
PDBA conveyed condolences to all near and dear ones of the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
Dr. L.K. Acjumi: Dr. L.K. Achumi, (retd) district and session judge has expressed pain on the demise of Justice Zelre Angami. Achumi described late Zelre as simple, honest and sincere who was respected by everyone. He conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
