CoVS&AH Jalukie organizes job fair

College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (CoVS&AH), Jalukie, Peren organized first ever “career/job fair 2023” on March 25.
Five companies namely- Virbac Animal Health India Pvt. Limited, Godrej Agrovet Pvt. Ltd, Neogen Food and Animal Security (India) Pvt. Ltd, BhuvanaNutribioscience, Skyec Drugs and Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd. Along with their nine representatives participated in the fair. Passed out students of the college from the batch of 2016 and 2017 along with internship students of 2018 also participated in the event.
The programme was graced by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peren, Vineet Kumar, where he applauded the organizing team for organizing the event which in turn would help the veterinary graduates to choose the private sector as their career opportunities.
DC also emphasized that private sector has a vast opportunities as aspiring graduates can explore those job openings. Dean, College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Jalukie, Peren, Dr. I Shakuntala and the chairperson of the organizing team expressed gratitude towards the participating companies and also the past student of the college for participating in the event.
Professor and head, dept. of veterinary medicine and convener, Dr. Gunjan Das, of the event earlier in his welcome speech enlightened about the importance of organizing this type of event for the students and alumni. He said career/job fairs provide aspiring graduates with opportunities to interact with recruiters and have an overall idea about the interviews and job profile.
