State chief secretary, J.Alam has reminded all Administrative Heads of Departments (AHoDs) and Heads of Departments (HoDs) to be sincere in discharging their duties and monitor the attendance of their respective staff.
According to a DIPR report, the chief secretary was addressing a meeting of the AHoDs and HoDs on March 18 at the Secretariat Conference Hall, Kohima.
Underscoring the importance of government employee’s office attendance for better deliverance of public service, Alam advised the AHoDs and HoDs to monitor staff attendance so that they could render better and smooth service to the public.
With regard to the first session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly scheduled to be held from March 20-28, the chief secretary asked the AHoDs and HoDs to attend the Assembly sessions on all business days without fail. He asked them to be available in the officer’s gallery to assist the ministers and advisors in discharging their assembly works.
During the meeting, the home commissioner also spoke on preparation for hosting the G20 meeting and to speed up in all identified venues.
