A three-day “DAKSHATA” training for health care providers organised by Department of Health & Family Welfare (HoH&FW) Longleng culminated Thursday at the Conference Hall, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Longleng office.
A press release by CMO Longleng office informed that the training focused upon improving care for mothers and new-borns with an aim to reduce maternal and child mortality during childbirth and to provide quality services during delivery.
Resource persons were DPO (RCH/UIP), Dr. S. I Mnameren Phom, and CHO Bhumnyu SC-HWC, Akumla Yapang.
Altogether 18 participants including Medical Officers, CHOs, Staff Nurses and FHWs, District Hospital Longleng attended the training .
It may be mentioned that, “DAKSHATA” training is a technical update cum skills standardization training to improve care and survival of mothers and new-born through hands on training with the latest clinical updates.
