A three-day skill development training programme on “basket making” for children between 15- 18 years was organised by Development Association of Nagaland (DAN) under “Morung Project” on June 1-3 at Sumi Village under Phek district.
A press release by DAN informed that speaking at the programme, DAN regional coordinator, Tshekulhi Aku Thopi underscored the importance of skill development in this era where unemployment was reaching its peak.
He also congratulated the trainees on completion of the training and encouraged them to utilise the knowledge gained for generating income.
The resource person during the three days training programme was Kewale Wozah.
