DC Phek issues traffic advisory

Deputy Commissioner of Phek, Kumar Ramnikant has announced that the traffic route leading from existing KM 30.474 (near Kidima Road Chakhabama) to existing road KM. 53.220 (near Kikruma Village) (Design Km. 29.600 to Km. 51.5) on NH-29, which has been temporarily restricted has been reopened for all commuters with immediate effect.


However, the public were advised to exercise caution while using the stretch of road, as it was still under construction, especially considering the ongoing monsoon season. ‘


Meanwhile, DC has appealed to the general public to contact the site in-charge (Tonny, 9863299229) in the event of incidents such as landslides, rockfalls, etc., in and around the area.
