District Committee for Lighthouse Schools (DCLS) meeting was held on Tuesday, in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner (DC) Noklak, under the chairmanship of DC Noklak, Hiazu Meru.
According to a DIPR report, DC Noklak Hiazu Meru highlighted the concept of Nagaland Education Project–The Lighthouse (NECTAR).
He informed that the department of School Education (DoSE) has launched a project called Nagaland Education Project, the Lighthouse-Nagaland Enhancing Teaching and resources (NECTAR) to improve and enhance quality and learning outcome of government schools in Nagaland.
At the meeting, the house discussed the selection and verification process for Lighthouse by District Committee for Lighthouse School Complex.
In this regard, the DC requested all the stakeholders and line departments to submit the report on time.
Later, a meeting was also scheduled to be held on June 9 for finalisation.
