Dimapur District Basketball Association (DDBA) conducted the selection trials for both men and women categories at the JV Rise Basketball Court, Signal Angami on August 3.
The selection panel consist of Tiameren Amri (convener), Alanthung Ngullie, Imchenchang Imchen, Rajan Nayak and Chumbenthung Humtsoe. The following players were shortlisted to represent Dimapur district at the Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games to be held from August 22-27 in Kohima.
Men’s team: Chumbenthung, Rajan, Vikuo, Keneingutuo, Rongsennungba, Rilise, Imsuren, Bendang, Changsang, Kamlenmang, Sanenlong, Tovika; Alanthung (coach) and Tiameren (manager).
Women’s team: Kivitoli, Ropila, Temjenrenla, Senole, Kenyuni, Thokchom, Webi-u, Lunshila, Imchakumla, Novingbeni, Maria, Lituna; Imchenchang (coach) and Kallol (manager).
