Deliver what has been promised: NPAC to GoI

Nagaland People’s Action Committee (NPAC) has appealed to the Government of India (GoI) to demonstrate political will to deliver what it had promised time and again, to resolve the Naga political issue.
In a statement, the Nagaland People’s Action Committee maintained that all civil society organisations (CSOs), tribal hohos and Core Committee of the Parliamentary Committee on Naga Political Issue have a clear stand– an early Naga political solution.
Constituted by the CSOs and tribal hohos representing the people, Nagaland People’s Action Committee declared that it would work towards this consensus and pursue an early Naga political solution.
NPAC said it expected full support of the tribal hohos, CSOs and Parliamentary Committee towards the common cause and “stand firm on people’s voice so that the people in authority will not take us for a ride.”
It pointed out that the people were seriously observing whether the Core Committee of Parliamentary Committee was walking the talk on the four-point resolution adopted on July 16, 2022.
Meanwhile, NPAC said the public rally scheduled on August 5 at Supermarket area Dimapur was on the same page of the resolution and maintained that all concerned should support the public rally in letter and in spirit.
It further maintained that the people on the ground wanted solution and were prepared to create a clear passage for peace and solution.
