Department of Industries and Commerce, as part of their State-Wide Sensitization Drive (Phase-I), conducted seminar and workshop on Pradhan Mantri Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme at Mokokchung Town and Akuluto on May 8. A press release from state lead project manager Kuko Nuh, informed that the program was aimed to encourage potential entrepreneurs and groups to avail assistance under the scheme to up-grade their existing units and also set up new micro food processing enterprises. It further informed that the department will be covering different Blocks of various districts during the Phase-I of the sensitization drive.
