One day workshop on Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro food processing Enterprises (PMFME) scheme was organised by District Industries and Commerce (DIC) Kiphire office at Hopongkyu Memorial Hall Kiphire, Tuesday.
At the programme, DIC Kiphire functional manager, Mhachan N Kikon while highlighting the gathering about the scheme, urged the youths not to depend on government jobs but be self-reliant.
Highlight the prospects in agriculture sector, Kikon advised the youths to approach the agriculture department for assistance.
The workshop was addressed by district resource person PMFME, Tsaziba; inspector of industries DIC Kiphire, Methavito Tsukru; agriculture inspector DAO Kiphire, Selila and AGS KDCCI, Roland Sangtam on various topics such as – PMFM scheme criteria and guidelines, role of DIC in implementation of PMFME scheme, bank procedure and standard evaluation in financing of project, knowledge sharing of kholar and challenges of being an entrepreneur in Kiphire.
