Dimapur police bid farewell to outgoing officers

Dimapur Police Commissionarate (DPC) on Monday organized farewell programme to honour the outgoing officers- Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, Rothihu Tetseo, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Traffic, Jatila Jamir, DCP Dimapur, Naieem Mustafa, DCP (Crime) and PRO, Bharat Laxman Markad, and ADCP CMD, T Yanrenthung Ngullie on Monday at conference hall, commissioner of police, Dimapur.
Addressing the gathering, outgoing CP Dimapur, Tetseo, expressed gratitude to all unit, all senior officers, civil society organizations, Churches and media persons for their cooperation, support and dedication with the police force in maintaining the law and order situation in Dimapur.
He stated that it was due to cooperation and selfless dedication by everyone, law and order situation in the district could be managed.
He thanked the civil society organizations and Churches in Dimapur for voluntarily and assisting police in maintaining law and order and also during Covid times.
Tetseo also acknowledged the positive relationship between the police and district administration and the paramilitary forces deployed in Dimapur for the assistance provided whenever requested.
In conclusion, he congratulated the new team and wished them all the best.
Delivering farewell speech, DCP Bharat said that he was fortunate to work with almost every forces and units, including forces from states, during his time in Dimapur.
Despite many challenges, he said that due to team work and coordination, police were able to solve many issues.
Also delivering her farewell speech, Jamir thanked the police officials in DPC for the cooperation and support.
Furthermore, Ngullie, in his brief message said that though his stay in Dimapur police was short, he expressed gratefulness to the forces, district administration and civil society organizations for their cooperation.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by ADCP (PRO/TRF), Temsunochet Changkija and invocation by pastor, PBC Dimapur, Rev Rakhlu Livi.
Short speeches were also delivered by president, NCD, Etsungmomo Kikon, Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Sachin Jaiswal, DPRO, Muslim Council Dimapur, and DCP Chümoukedima, Munesh.
