Disability assessment & UDID camp

A disability assessment and Unique Disability Identity (UDID) card registration camp-cum-medical camp for the Person with Disabilities (PWDs) was held on May 26 at Kiphire.
The programme was organised by state coordinator Unique Disability Identity Akihoti in collaboration with the District Hospital Kiphire and department of Social Welfare.
At the camp, District Welfare Officer (DWO) Yesumong Sangtam highlighted the Person with Disabilities about their rights and benefits they could avail. District coordinator Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY), Limitsung Sangtam also briefed the Person with Disabilities about the objectives and benefits of PMMVY 2.O.
More than 100 Person with Disabilities data was collected to be registered on Unique Disability Identity portal.
