Dimapur Lotha Youth Organization (DLYO) has inducted new team of office bearers for the tenure (2023-2026) at Lotha Hoho Ki, Dimapur on Saturday. The new team will be headed by Nzanbemo Humtsoe as president.
Delivering short speech, the newly inducted president, Nzanbemo thanked the search committee for reposing faith in him and on the new team. He thanked the ongoing team for their tireless efforts and commitment during their tenure and also wished them the best in their endeavor. He also called upon the new team to uphold the people’s recognition and work cohesively towards to uplift the community in particular and Naga society in general.
On the occasion, short speeches were delivered by representatives from Dimapur Lotha Hoho (DLH), Dimapur Lotha Eloe Ekhung (DLEE) and Dimapur Lotha Students Union (DLSU) where they congratulated the incoming team and lauded the outgoing team for their contribution towards the welfare of the community.
They encouraged the youth on the importance of working together for the progress of the younger generation.
Introduction of the new office bearers was carried out by search committee secretary Vanjamo Murry and dedicatory prayer by Lotha Baptist Church (LBCD) associate pastor Lanlongo Yanthan. Report (2021-23) was read out by DLYO ex general secretary Tsenchamo Ovung.
Later, vote of thanks was delivered by DLYO search committee B Mhajan Tsopoe and benediction by Angelina Ngullie. The programme was chaired by Thechano Kithan and special song by Zaren Ngullie.
