DMC employees suspend protest till November 15

Considering the assurance given by the State government, DMC Employees’ Welfare Union (DMCEWU) has announced temporary suspension of its “No Pay, No Work” agitation till November 15.
DMCEWU president T Revo Anar and general secretary Agan Rimai said that the decision was made during its executive body emergency meeting held at DMC office premises on Monday morning.
After a thorough deliberation, the house also resolved that if the government failed to fulfil the employees’ demand within the stipulated period, the DMCEWU would go for an indefinite agitation. Further, the meeting also made it clear that the union would not to entertain any kind of request/appeal and the decision was final and binding.
