DMC informs on trade licence

Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has declared as cancelled/invalid with effect from May 16, 2023 all the existing registered trade licence under DMC, who have not renewed their trade licence and defaulted.
In an office notification, DMC administrator W Manpai Phom stated that henceforth all unregistered/defaulters of trade licence would apply under the new trade licence management system with payment of one-time registration fee and security deposit equivalent to one year trade licence & sanitary services fees as per the new terms and condition laid down for issuance of trade licence under DMC.
Further, DMC also notified that it would be undertaking physical verification and mapping of all shops/business establishment location under DMC jurisdiction and defaulters would be penalized.
DMC has, therefore, directed all the unregistered/defaulters of trade licence to immediately apply for registration under the new trade licence management system to avoid initiation of action and penalties as per provision of terms and condition laid down by DMC.
