Don’t cut down trees till poll process is over: Power department

In view of ensuing assembly election, the power department Dimapur electrical division has requested citizens of Dimapur not to cut down trees or carry out any civil construction works near overhead electric lines from February 26, 2023 till the election process was over.
In a press release, executive engineer Dimapur electrical division stated that uninterrupted power supply was of utmost necessity for smooth conduct of polling activities.
As the department is preparing to ensure uninterrupted power supply to all polling stations in the district, executive engineer Dimapur electrical division has appealed to all responsible citizens to co-operate and join hands in this endeavour.
