DoSE PD advises students to be sincere & committed

Principal director (PD) department of School Education (DoSE), Thavaseelan K advised students to be sincere and committed in their studies in order to transform their goals and dreams into reality.
According to a DIPR report, Thavaseelan was speaking special guest at the 50th anniversary celebration of Bautung Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Longleng on October 28 at the School Auditorium.
In his jubilee address, the principal director urged the students to learn, equip, update and change with the given resources to achieve success in their lives.
“Education is the key to success and the most powerful weapon to change the world,” said Thavaseelan.
He also urged the parents to ensure that their children are receiving quality education, saying “Education is the best investment and the most expensive gift that you can give to your child”.
Congratulating the school and the faculty members on achieving 50 years, he also urged the parents and well-wishers to continue to extend their cooperation and support towards the school and the teaching faculty members for upliftment of the school.
In a message, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Longleng, Dharam Raj acknowledged the fruits of development provided by the school and said the school has contributed a lot in the development of Longleng district.
Exhorting the students, Raj advised them to learn more and perform more, and set high goals and try to achieve it through their hard work and dedication. He urged them to learn and achieve it to contribute towards the progress of the school and also for the welfare of the society.
Earlier, the special guest unveiled the jubilee monolith and released the jubilee souvenir. BPCA executive secretary, N. Tialemba Phom pronounced the monolith dedicatory prayer. Commendation speech was delivered by Sr. SDEO and DEO in-charge Longleng, Yahuto Kath while additional director, Agri department, B. Nyenghong Phom spoke on behalf of alumni.
