Duncan Bosti Council adopts resolutions for NLA elections

Duncan Bosti Council (DBC), Duncan Women Union and Duncan Youth have passed various resolutions for the ensuing 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly elections 2023 on February 16.
In a press release, Duncan Bosti Council chairman, Wojamo Yanthan and secretary, S Bendang Imsong stated that the following resolutions were passed: the council has decided to ban pasting any kind of election posters/ banner within the colony; no political party will be allowed to operate any political camp within the colony; no outsiders/persons will be allowed to enter the colony polling station on polling day.
The council further decided to allow senior citizens and physically handicapped person to caste their respective vote during the first hour on Polling Day. It also warned that every individual or political parties should follow the resolutions implemented by the Council, failing which strict actions will be taken against any defaulters.
