DIMAPUR: Duncan Bosti Council (DBC) held a coordination meeting with nine neighbouring colonies on March 5 and adopted a three-point resolution.
A press release from Duncan council public relations secretary, Edichang Imchen informed that during the meeting, all nine neighbouring colony representatives resolved that the electricity prepaid system should not be installed in all the nine colonies and “to remain with the decision of DUCCF and GB union.”
It also resolved that the commodity rates must be strictly checked by all colony authorities for uniformity of prices fixed by DMC and for the benefit of public. Further, the house resolved that selling of alcohol would not be allowed in any of the neighbouring colonies.
