Darogapathar Village Council (DVC) at its meeting passed several resolutions for strict compliance in the ensuing assembly election 2023.
In a press release, DVC chairman K. Ado Bizo, Secretary I. Akum Jamir and Head G.B Yashimeren Ao stated that the council has prohibited interference from outsiders in the village political activities within the jurisdiction during the election times and on the polling day.
EVC restricted any contesting political parties from operating political/youth camps and putting up of political banners and posters within village jurisdiction and political canvassing by any political parties should be conduct in a peaceful manner.
In regard, DVC has entrusted the Darogapathar Youth Organization (DYO) to monitor all the above activities to safeguard and provide a secure environment within the village jurisdiction.
Further, DVC made it clear that the resolution has been made to conduct free and fair election and wished all contesting members of Ghaspani 4 A/C the very best of luck.
