National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) Nagaland has appealed to all educational institutions in Nagaland observe “World No Tobacco Day” 2023, on May 31 under the theme “We Need Food, Not Tobacco”.
In a press release, NTCP stated that the celebration is to raise awareness on the dangers of tobacco use and it’s increasing influence on children and youth. To mark the significance of this day, it requested the institutions to take up awareness activities to pledge against tobacco habit.
