Educational institutions organise various activities for students

Educational institutions conducted various programmes and activities for the students as part of their yearly curriculum and extracurricular activities.
IC: With an objective to give platform to the students to showcase their various talents, Music and Art Club of Immanuel College organised its first annual talent hunt, “Immanuel’s Got Talent” on December 15 at the College Auditorium. A release by the college informed that a total of 15 students participated in various categories such as singing, dancing, instrumental piece and poetry recitation. Talem of BA 4th semester was adjudged as the winner and Remichon of Class 11 Arts was the runner up.
SJHSRS: St. John Higher Secondary Residential School organised “students’ career exposition programme” in the month of December. The programme included field visits, talk show and career lecture series on varied areas of study and career. A release by the school stated that as part of the programme, lecture-cum-discussion on Civil Aviation was held on December 16. The talk was conducted by Capt. Lungpinglak Domtta (Ping) of the Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) for students of Class 10 and 11.
Earlier, in separate events, a team of Seven Commissioned Officers of Indian Navy led by Cdr Rajiv Prassanna R, visited the school on December 8, and conducted a career lecture-cum-discussion with Class 11 and 12 students. A live talk show was also conducted with aeronautical engineer, Jakub Nosek on December 3, which was attended by higher secondary students of the school.
