ENCSU serves ultimatum on Higher Education deptt

Expressing strong resentment that Wakching New Model College, which was inaugurated on February 3, 2019, was still lying paralyzed without a single teaching staff, the Eastern Nagaland College Students’ Union (ENCSU) Tuesday served an ultimatum on the department of higher education (DoHE) to initiate the “positive gesture” within March 2022.
In a reminder letter addressed to the director higher education, the Eastern Nagaland College Students’ Union vice president Mankap C Annyuhu and general secretary Sanglekhamba C Chang cautioned that the department’s failure to address the demand would force the union to “take its own course of action for which the concern authority will be held solely responsible.”
ENCSU questioned the department and government on what ground the Wakching New Model College was ignored. The union stated that even after submission of representation, the department chose to turn a deaf ear to its demand.
