ENPO-Amit Shah meeting postponed

Spl. Correspondent

The Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization (ENPO) meeting with Union Home minister Amit, which was scheduled to be held on December 3, has been postponed.
Sources informed Nagaland Post that the meeting was postponed as Amit Shah was busy for the Gujarat elections. Gujarat will vote in the second phase on Monday (December 5).
Sources, however, said that the meeting will be held once Amit Shah returns from Gujarat. The meeting was likely to be held on Sunday or Monday, sources added.
It may be noted that chief minister Neiphiu Rio arrived Delhi on Saturday afternoon, while deputy chief minister Y. Patton and some members of the Eastern Nagaland Legislators Union arrived Delhi on Friday to attend the meeting.
Further, the 11-member delegation of Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization, led by its president R. Tsapikiu Sangtam including talk team members were already camping in Delhi since Thursday.
As reported, Union Home minister Amit Shah had invited ENPO members/talk team for a meeting in Delhi to discuss on the ‘Frontier Nagaland’ Statehood demand.
