Though Eastern Nagaland Peoples Organisation (ENPO) demand for Frontier Nagaland, the Centre may offer Autonomous Council or direct Financial Package from Delhi not through Kohima. But direct funding route to ENPO areas from Centre alone will not be enough.
There are numerous other issues which we need to discuss or write. For general awareness and reference, we share a page/table from many pages shared by DUDA department in their RTI reply NO.DUDA/RTI-256/08/part-III.
From this page/table, we can clearly identify that the funds are for Under Developed Area/ Backward areas, but most implementing Agencies/organization are not from ENPO/Under Developed Area.
If something good happen in Eastern Nagaland by ongoing talk with Centre, the ENPO need to resolve a firm law that the fund for development of ENPO Area should be utilized for the benefit of ENPO people by the ENPO people and the Implementing agency/organization should be from ENPO Area.
ENPO need to made firm laws that whoever collaborate with others for utilization of fund, other than ENPO people should be excommunicate from ENPO. ENPO area will not progress and develop unless make such a stern law.
In our present undivided Nagaland state, we observe it’s a high time that, ENPO need to demand and resolve firm laws that funding for ENPO areas under DUDA must be utilized for the welfare of the ENPO people.

Furthermore, as per the Directorate of Under Developed Area RTI reply, for distribution and installation of Solar lights in Backward Area, department spend Rs. 627.64 lakhs during the financial year 2015-16 to 2018-19.
However it was more or less like a plan, to benefit the businessman/shopkeepers at the cost of poor people.
Why because, at the same time, the New & Renewable Energy Department provided solar light at a subsidized rate of around Rs.6800 in the 1st phase and Rs.9300 in the second phase which include transportation and installation cost.
As per the DUDA Department procurement receipt, 1 (One) solar light cost around ` 1,011,800 which includes transportation and installation cost. These solar lights are procured from a shop at Dimapur.
Therefore for matching of development fund for ENPO/Under Developed Area and developmental activities in the area, people need to voice out and resolve a firm wise decision at this juncture.
