ENWO flays abuse of three minors

Eastern Nagaland Women Organization (ENWO) has strongly condemned and expressed shock to learn about the physical assault of three minors from Longwa village under Mon district by Ronika, a “self-proclaimed environmental activist/missionary”.
In a press note, Eastern Nagaland Women Organization said her actions were extremely heinous, depraved and totally unexpected, adding that such inhuman act should not be tolerated in a civilized society.
ENWO said it was also pained to learn that the minors were brought on pretext of providing better education and care, but rather turned out to be unimaginable and disheartening.
ENWO, therefore, called upon all citizens to be vigilant and wise not to be lured under such hands as this was not the first time the people of Eastern were being mistreated.
While seeking justice for the victims at the earliest, ENWO also urged the law enforcing authority to book the culprit at the earliest and punish as deemed under law.
Further, ENWO expressed sympathy with the victims and prayed for quick recovery from physical and mental trauma.
