A five-day free cataract surgery eye camp organised by the National Programme for Control of Blindness and Visual Impairment (NPCB&VI) Nagaland at IMDH Mokokchung concluded on March 18. A press release by CMO Mokokchung office stated that during the camp, District Hospital Tuensang, consultant eye specialist, Dr. Phyantsuthung conducted 23 cataract surgery for 18 patients at the camp. Meanwhile, a team led by Medical Officer, IMDH, Mokokchung, Dr. Renjano N Okhyopvui screened a total of 160 patients for cataract as well as glaucoma.
