FGN celebrates ‘Naga Republic Day’

DIMAPUR: Federal Government of Nagaland celebrated “67th Naga Republic Day” on March 22 at two different locations – eastern and western.
A press release by FGN stated that in the western at Dimapur, the “Naga National Flag” was unfurled by FGN kedahge, ‘brig. (Retd)’ S. Singnya. The programme was chaired by FGN secretary general, Ghuvishe V. Zhimomi, who also read out the Republic Day speech on behalf of kedahge. The ongoing Naga political development issue was delivered by FGN kedallo, Zhopra Vero, short speeches were delivered by kilonsers – Hekhuvi Achumi, Litsaba Sangtam, Victor M Thuuand GOC W/C ‘maj.gen.’ Anito Yeptho.
In the eastern, the Republic Day was celebrated at Nokhu Noking village under Khiamniungan region where the “Naga National Flag” was unfurled FGN killokilonser Puthai Lam. The programme was chaired by kilonser, Samuel, welcome note was delivered by kilonser S Aso Yimkhuing, short speech was delivered by “commendation of Naga Army” kilonser TT Sangtam and note of thanks by midanpeyu, Khiamniungan region, Langkhang.
