Fire razes shops in Komima

A fire broke out at a commercial structure destroying around 4 shops near BSNL office, here on Friday night.
According to Additional SP PRO, Kohima, the fire started sometime around 6:40 to 7 pm at one of the shops in the CGI sheeted structure, however, he informed that the fire was successfully subdued by fire tenders.
The structure houses shops selling fresh fish, poultry and used clothes were completely razed to the ground. An Alto parked near the structure was also burnt by the fire from the incident.
PRO clarified that the fire outbreak was a tragic incident and was not related to any other issue.
No one was injured in the incident while property destroyed by the fire could not be ascertained during the time of filing of this report.
