The first ever season of Mr Chümoukedima organised by Meraki Entertainment Nagaland was held on August 6 at Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre.
Neithongunuo Rio Achumi and Vili G Chophy graced the event as special guest and guest of honour respectively.
Sunep Imsong bagged the title “Mr Chümoukedima, 2022” while Watichungba and Sedevi Nagi bagged 1st runners up and 2nd runners up respectively.
In addition, there were 4 sub-title winners: ‘Best Ethnic Wear’ – Sedevi Nagi; ‘Best Ramp walk’ – Sunep Imsong; ‘Mr Popularity’ – Sedevi Nagi; and ‘Mr Multimedia’ – John Kikon.
Judges for the event were Lovi Awomi, Narola Jati, Sentimeren Pongen, and Rosou Rhi.
Earlier, Ruopfuzhano Whiso hosted the event and Imnasenla Rachel was the announcer.
Founder and proprietor of Riparian Social Welfare Foundation (RSWF), Chümoukedima Asu Rhakho, invoked God’s blessing for the event.
The event was choreographed by Sanjeev Tamang and show director Thejakhrienuo Nakhro.
highlights of the event included performances from artists like Moko Koza, Tia Longkumer, Beatkings, M Wapang Jamir, Riparian Social Welfare Foundation, Chümoukedima, and others.
It was a charity event for ministry of RSWF.
