Flag-in ceremony of NIT held in Kohima

A flag-in ceremony for students and teachers of Kohima district who went on National Integration Tour (NIT) was held Sunday at Kenguruse auditorium, Assam Rifles.
Speaking at the ceremony as chief guest, Inspector General of Assam Rifles (N) Maj. Gen. Vikas Lahera expressed hope that the tour has enriched the minds of the students and given them a glimpse of India. He also called upon the students to explore, look beyond the state and participate in nation building.
A total of 20 students from four schools namely Christ King Higher Secondary School, Modern Higher secondary School, Little flower Higher secondary School and Don Bosco Higher secondary School and four teachers went on the ten-day tour.
It may be noted that the NIT project aims to provide students and teachers the opportunity to explore outside the state and gain fruitful knowledge to boost their confidence, meet the future challenges and bring in comprehensive growth.
