Forum of Land Owners/Pattadars has petitioned Dimapur deputy commissioner (DC) to submit copies of jamabandi of surveyed land to Defence Estate/116 Engineer Regiment, Rangapahar, at the earliest for further necessary action.
In a representation to the DC, forum president K Thong expressed appreciation to the Dimapur district administration and the Defence Ministry for the progress made in giving approval to joint survey maps done in 2019.
Thong said land had already been allotted to Assam Rifles at Shokuvi so as to vacate pockets of land occupied by it in Dimapur town.
