Sirhima FC, Fury FC Molvom and Ton FC Molvom have progressed to the next round after winning their respective matches at the ongoing 8th Frolic Cup at Medziphema local ground on Friday.
Sirhima FC defeated Dolphin FC 2-1. Dolphin FC succumbed to Sirhima FC despite the lead in the 6th minute when the shot from Kikrukhrieto found the net. The joy was short lived when the score was equalized in the 10th minute by Sehgoulen. The lead was further extended in the 28th minute by Sehgoulen. The second half witnessed a trilling contest, however Dolphin FC failed to make any breakthrough and had to concede defeat.
The afternoon match witnessed a dominating display Fury FC Molvom thrashed Sechü Zubza Academy 5-1. Surhosul of Fury FC scored hat-trick in the 7th, 25th and 48th minutes, while teammates Thanglenhao and Thulunso scored in the 30th and 35th minutes respectively which took the game out of reach for the SZA. The solitary goal for SZA came in 37th minute from the boot of Mhaphruovito Rhatu.
Ton FC Molvom blanked Kuki Youth & Students Union in the evening match 4-0. Despite a game equal attack and defending, the KYSUM were found wanting in converting the opportunity. Ton FC took away the game with 4 goals, through the boots of Henkhohao 7th minute, Jangvanglen 9th minute, Ngamlensang 25th minute and Henkhao 51st minute.
