VFA FC, Falcon United and Amigos FC on Thursday progressed to the next round in the ongoing 8th Frolic Cup, which got underway at Medziphema local ground on Monday. In the morning match, VFA defeated the Libra FC through tie break after the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Sainem for Libra and Aliba of VFA scored for their respective team. Final score 5-4 in favour of VFA.
In the afternoon match, United Falcon Club beat Ruzaphema Youth Org in a strong second half comeback despite an own goal. The goal scorer for RYO came from Henry, and Kevisede, Mangal Gurung (2 goals) scored for UFC. Final Score 3-2 in favour of UFC. The defending Champion Amigos FC trashed Patkai Christian College 3-1.
