GHS Toluvi organises annual sports week

Government High School, Toluvi held its annual sports week from March 15 to 17 at Toluvi village ground where four houses competed in various games and indigenous games.
Green house emerged as champions while yellow house was adjudged as the best discipline house.
At the programme, Atoli, who spoke on behalf of teachers, encouraged the students to maintain discipline and game spirit as they participate in the annual sports week.
The three-day sports week has introduced indigenous games like spear kicking and women traditional jumping (Puxa Kuxu). Mental ability games like sum race and obstacle race were also played to enable the students develop their mental ability to compete with others. The team captains of the four houses took oath to participate in the games and sports in true sportsmanship.
The programme was chaired by Nitolimi of class X, welcome address by Lucy Chophy of class IX, prayer of blessings by Vino.
