Governor highlights central welfare schemes & policies

Governor of Assam and Nagaland, Jagdish Ji Mukhi on Sunday highlighted various welfare schemes and polices undertaken by the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to DIPR report, the governor said that policy announced by the Prime Minister were achieved in due time.
He said this while speaking as chief guest at the Diwali Milan at Dimapur, an annual event of Janjati Vikas Samiti Nagaland, which is celebrated every year post Diwali. He said India was growing faster from the last 8-9 years and became the 5th growing country in the world and also the 4th powerful country in the world.
The governor however, said that government alone could not achieve the goal or make the plans successful without the involvement of the citizens. For which, he said Modi government involved all organisations and individuals to make the mission complete. He also appreciated the objective and work of Janjati Vikadh Samiti Nagaland.
It may be noted that Janjati Vikash Samiti Nagaland (JVSN) is a national organisation having its branches all over the country. It’s objective is to work to uplift tribal people in the country through proper education, good health, traditional culture and support them to get respectable employment or profession. Guest of honour, national executive of Janjati Vikash Samit, Bhagwan Ji Sahay explained the three core values in life, and cited how the students of Janjati Vikash Samiti make dreams into reality. He informed that a student from Nagaland became a scientist and is presently in ISRO with the support of JVSN.
Earlier, the function was chaired by convenor Chandu Agarwal, and welcome speech was delivered by president JVSN, Dimapur Ashok Agarwal.
