Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation (NHHDC) Ltd. Dimapur has informed that a State Handloom Expo will be held at Urban Haat, under Dimapur district, from August 17-30, sponsored by the office of the development commissioner (Handloom), ministry of Textiles, New Delhi.
NHHDC managing director Zakabo V. Rotokha has informed that cooperative societies, NGOs, apex societies, SHGs, etc. may apply at project cell, NHHDC Ltd, Half Nagarjan, Dimapur with ID cards issued by the corporation on or before August 12 during office hours.
Participants have been asked to be COVID vaccinated and follow strict SOPs.
Stalls will be provided free of cost and TA/DA and freight charges will be reimbursed. During the handloom expo, a competition for the best three stalls in display and sales will be held wherein, cash prizes would be awarded.
