Directorate of Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) repaired the road leading from Civil Secretariat to their office and Home Guard department on January 28.
A press release from H&FW informed that the repairing of road was initiated by principal director of H&FW, Dr. Temjentsungla.
Temjentsungla said that the much awaited road restoration was a great hurdle for some years and especially during monsoon seasons as the employees and commuters for all the adjacent offices faced problems due to poor road condition.
In this connection, the principal director said, she had prioritized and took the initiative to repair the road and expressed the hope that the newly repaired road will aid better functioning of office work for the employees, visitors and all commuters in all the offices.
She extended gratitude to all the departments who rendered their support.
She further expressed gratitude to the departments of Home Guard, DIPR, Horticulture, Statistics & Economics, Transport, Land Resources, Science & Technology, Water Resources and Officers & Staffs of Directorate of Health & Family Welfare for all the help rendered.
