ICAR-NRC on Mithun celebrates ‘Hindi Week’

A week-long “Hindi Week” celebration by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)-National Research Centre (NRC) on Mithun culminated on September 20.
In a press release, ICAR-NCR on Mithun stated that during the closing ceremony, chief guest, Sainik School Punglwa, principal, Gp Capt R. K. Yadav appreciated the efforts made by the institute for converting all the name boards, sign boards, registers, and seals into bilingual language and using Hindi in day-to-day work.
Yadav also motivated the children to enrich their skills and to take up higher studies and added that schools irrespective of their positioning should give Hindi the importance it needs.
Earlier, director of the institute, Dr. M. H. Khan highlighted the institute’s process in the use of Rajbhasa Hindi and urged all the staff members to use Hindi in their official works.
Further, the institute informed that a total of 11 various Hindi competitions were organised for staff members and students during the week-long celebration.
