In view of government of India’s “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, deputy commissioners of Dimapur, Zunheboto, Wokha, Nuiland, Tuensang, Chumoukedima, Kohima, and Peren district and additional deputy commissioner of Pughoboto have issued directives to be adhered by the public.
The DCs and ADC have asked every household, shops, schools, institutions, government offices in the district to participate in the campaign by purchasing the National Flag at Rs. 20 and hoist the National Flag at their respective places from August 13-15.
Districts and sub-division administrations across the state also held coordination meetings with all the other departments and stakeholders for the ensuing Independence Day 2022 celebration. Mass social works were also conducted in view of the celebration.
Zunheboto: DC Zunheboto has asked all ULB/town council administrators, BDOs and COs to organise morning procession/walks by youths/students on August 10, 7 a.m. onwards in all the towns and villages in the district.
Dimapur: DC Dimapur, Sachin Jaiswal has informed that “Prabhat Pheris” (morning processions/walks) carrying the National Flag would be organised on August 9, 8 a.m. at ADC Court junction to City Tower led by DC Dimapur and at Commissioner of Police Office to City Tower led by CP Dimapur. All CSOs, schools, colleges and public have been requested to participate.
Wokha: DC Wokha, Ajit Kumar Ranjan has requested schools and colleges to conduct morning rally and asked them to upload pictures of the activities conducted at the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign App/Link.
Nuiland: DC Nuiland, Sara S. Jamir while requesting for successful conduct of the campaign, has asked all concerned to take good pictures/videos and selfies with the National Flag for uploading in the national portal.
