Information on ULB polls at Tizit, Naginimora

In view of the ensuing Urban Local Body (ULB) elections, district and sub-division administrations have issued directives and information for all concerned.According to a DIPR report, the administrations have informed that nomination papers can be delivered on April 3, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on any day other than public holiday but not later than 3 p.m. of April 10.
The scrutiny of nomination papers would be done on April 12-13, and the notice of withdrawal of candidature may be delivered by the candidate or his proposer or his election agent (who has been authorized in writing by the candidate to deliver it) before 3 p.m. on April 24. In the event of election, it has been notified that the poll will take place between 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on May 16.
Tizit: Additional Deputy commissioner (ADC) Tizit, Keyirangding Hegui has notified that the ULB election for Ward No. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 & 9 of Tizit Town Council would be held with Ward No. 3,6 & 9 reserved for women. He informed that the nomination papers may be obtained and delivered at the Office Chamber of ADC & RO, Tizit Town Council (TTC) Tizit. It has been informed that scrutiny of nomination papers would be held at ADC & RO, TTC, Tizit, and the notice of withdrawal of candidature are to be delivered to the office of the ADC & RO, Tizit.
Naginimora: Additional Deputy commissioner (ADC) and Returning Officer (RO) Naginimora, Temsuwati has informed that with the announcement of the election programme, the Model Code of Conduct for the guidance of all political parties and candidates, adopted by the state election commission, contained in the model code of conduct for the guidance of all political parties and candidates, 2004 will come into force with immediate effect within the entirety of Naginimora Town Council area going to polls. ADC and RO has informed that election would be held for Wards No. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 & 9 of the Naginimora Town Council with Wards No. 3,6 & 9 reserved for women.
Nomination papers are to be obtained or delivered to the RO at the Office of the ADC, Naginimora; the nomination papers will be taken up for scrutiny on April 12, 11 a.m. at the office chamber of the ADC, Naginimora; notice of withdrawal of candidature are to be delivered to the office of the ADC & RO, Naginimora.
