Ward-3 emerged as the Champion of the 1st Inter Ward Football League at by defeating Ward-4 with a solitary goal on September 4 at Tening.
The 1st Inter Ward Football League was organised by Tening Town Youth Organization.
Medanlung Rentta of Ward-6 won the highest scorer award with 34 goals, Panamchibo of Ward-9 was named as the emerging player of the league, Wilamdin of Ward-6 bagged the best goalkeeper and Keyizinlung of Ward-3 was named the best player of the league.
Benjamin Newmai, Commissioner & Secretary (Retd) graced the closing ceremony as special guest. He exhorted the players and the gathering to encourage sports for physical and mental fitness.
