A Covid-19 awareness-cum-vaccination drive was organised by Indian Social Responsibility Network (ISRN) on April 14 at Tiyi Hall, Wokha, Town Hall Wokha, UPHC Wokha Town and “vaccine on wheels” at Longsa Village.
According to DIPR report, at the awareness-cum-vaccination drive ISRN is implementing momentum –routine immunization and transformation equity project on amplifying Covid -19 vaccination in six districts namely Wokha, Phek, Kiphire, Peren, Tuensang and Zuhneboto supported by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through John Snow India (JSI).
The programme was attended by DC Wokha Orenthung Lotha, senior health system strength advisor, USAID, Vijay Paulraj, tech. advisor, HSS USAID, Delhi, Anuradha Jain, John Snow India (JSI) Team and ISRN Delhi team. The health and medical team led by CMO Wokha, Dr. Tumchobeni Kikon, deputy CMO Dr. Zuben Kikon and MO UPHC Wokha, Dr. Achumi Kikon.
