JDU Nagaland backs Nitish Kumar

After JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar returned to the NDA fold and took oath as Bihar chief minister for the record 9th time on Sunday, Nagaland JD(U) declared to stand firmly with Nitish and not waver in whatsoever circumstances it might take to.


In a statement, president Senchumo Lotha and general secretary Imsumongba Pongen asserted that the JDU had been a key ally in the NDA. The party and appreciated the wisdom of the BJP high command for acknowledging the tall leadership of Nitish Kumar, whom they claimed was one of the most seasoned politicians of the country and had served Bihar for the longest term as CM.

They also claimed that Bihar today was a model of progress and many innovative programmes were implemented due to the visionary statesmanship of Kumar.


The duo said it was not at all surprising that the BJP under Prime Ministership of Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and national president JP Nadda could well fathom the potential of Kumar who had immense capability to play a pivotal within the NDA.
Further, JDU unit congratulated Nitish Kumar on being sworn in as the chief minister of Bihar with the support of BJP.
