The 2nd Women Convention of Kuzhami Baptist Churches Association (KBCA) which began on January 13 under the theme, “Kewo Loh Kehi” (Living in the Light), concluded on January 15 following the devotional service.
The convention commenced with unfurling of flag by KBCA president Ngupelhi Lomi.
A total of 320 delegates from Calvary Baptist Church, Pfütseromi Village Baptist Church, Lekromi Baptist Church, Kuzhami Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima, Kuzhami Baptist Church Chümoukedima, Kuzhami Baptist Fellowship Diphupar and Kuzhami Baptist Church Darogapathar took part in the three-dag event. Around 700 people from in and around the district and attended the convention.
The event witnessed different categories of competition including Solo, Duet, Octet, Handicraft, Bible Quiz and theme song. The session speaker KBCA executive director, Rev Dr Obed Marhu, spoke on the main theme.
Other speakers included New Testament BTC Pfursero associate professor, Dr. Khrotsolou Wetsah, MIGSM principal Rev Dr Kenny Kapfo. Chairperson of Women Society Jessami-Eyestilu Mekrisüh and KBCC senior-Rev Dr. Kezütshülou Kapfo extended greetings.
KCBCK senior pastor, Rex Neikto Mero, Senior Pastor KCBCK administered the Lord’s Supper.
Meanwhile, KBCA women ministry has extended its appreciation to all the speakers, Bible study mentors, participants, delegates and well-wishers for their services and Kuzhami Baptist Church Chümoukedima for hosting the convention.
