KCC adopts rules for campaign

Kevijau Colony Council (KCC), women and youth organisations have passed a resolution for strict compliance in view of the ensuing assembly election 2023.
In a press statement, KCC chairman, Nokchi Jamir stated that the setting up of election camp for office, mission and youth camp will not be allowed under its jurisdiction. The colony stated that outsiders, non-resident of the colony, whose name were not enrolled or included in electoral roll will not be allowed in the polling station on the day of polling. In this regard, the council has advised individual and political parties to desist from such anti-activities and warned that strict action will be initiated against anyone found indulging in such activities.
