Advisor of CAWD and Taxes Kudecho Khamo inspected the alternative site of the DC Office at Survey Training Institute (STI), Purana Bazar Dimapur on Wednesday.
According to a press release by advisor office, Khamo said that a new DC office complex will be constructed with the state of the art. For which an alternative office for the DC will soon function at Survey Training Institute (STI), Purana Bazar.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Dimapur, Mhalo Humtsoe said the proposed alternative site at STI, Purana Bazar under Department of Land Records and Survey was approved during the District Planning & Development Board meeting.
With the renovation going on at the alternative site to make it feasible for setting up of DC office, she hoped that it will be able to make it at the early date.
Er. Sungtiba Amer, Executive Engineer (CAWD) said the new DC office complex was sanctioned for reconstruction at the existing site. It will include around eight departments in the DC complex with state of the art building with parking spaces for more than 150 vehicles.
Also, the advisor along with CAWD officials inspected various General Administration (GA) works under Chumokedima and Dimapur district. He visited ADC office Medziphema, EAC Seithekema, new DC office Chümoukedima and DC office Dimapur.
It may be noted that this was his third phase of visit after taking in charge of the CAWD. As part of the tour, Khamo will be visiting all the district in a phase manner to inspect the various work under general administration and also to understand the challenges faced by the administration in the state.
