Nagaland: Kohima District Basketball Association launches team jersey

Kohima District Basketball Association (KDBA) launched the team jersey at a programme at Vivid Lounge, here on Sunday.
Launching the jersey, Nagaland Basketball Association, vice president, Medozhatuo Rutsa lauded Kohima District Basketball Association for their efforts in trying to promote sportspersons in its own capacity.
He observed that while there were many talented players in the State who has the potential to excel but failed owing to lack of proper infrastructure or support.
He opined that State government should provide them with equal opportunity as it was promoting the music industry.
He pointed out that with a little support and encouragement from the government many players would shine and become even bring laurels to the State.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Vizokhrienuo Khro, Baptist Mission Church, assistant pastor, Keneiyalie Tungoe invoked God’s blessings and welcome address was delivered by Nunese.
