KPC holds orientation on KPC-NBOCWWB

An orientation programme for KPC-NBOCWWB Media Fellowship 2023 (Kohima Press Club- Nagaland Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board) was held on August 31 at KPC office with deputy director, office of the Labour Commissioner Avile Vitso, as resource speaker.


The selected fellows for the second round of KPC-NBOCWWB Media Fellowship, 2023 include Imti Longchar (Print Journalism), Reyivolü Rhakho (Print Journalism), Thejoto Nienu (Print Journalism), Caisii Mao (Photojournalism) and Grace Khuvung (Video Journalism).


Speaking at the Orientation Programme, Avile Vitso congratulated the media fellows while extending her best wishes in their journey. Earlier, president of Kohima Press Club, Alice Yhoshü gave the introductory remarks and gave a background on how the KPC-NBOCWWB Media Fellowship was established. She also exuded hope for a continued partnership in the days to come.


Highlights of the event included speeches by Vishü Rita Krocha, convenor for Print Journalism, Vincent Belho, Ccnvenor for Video Journalism and Zhazo Miachieo, who spoke on photojournalism. A contract agreement was also signed with the five selected media persons.
